Mandela Effect

“Anyone with eyes to see knows that the Bible is supernaturally changing!”…Or is it?

Ever since Nelson Mandela died in prison…oh wait, he didn’t! That’s just the thing: we remember hearing that he did, but history doesn’t back this up! The same is true of slogans, brand identities, movies, and more that don’t seem to align with what we remember. We’ll discuss these issues and what we think is causing them later. First, we need to talk about how many people now want to change the King James Bible to what they think it used to say, and things are getting serious!

The mystery of what is causing this confusion gets deeper every time a new piece of our reality is “Effected”. Who is to blame for the Mandela Effect? CERN? D-Wave computers? Time travel? Parallel dimensions merging? Or something less exotic like faulty memory, popular miscitations, poltergeists, or even demonic attacks? Let’s take a look at the claims, the evidence, and what we believe is going on behind the scenes.

The worst thing about it: There is no way to prove Mandelite’s claims wrong because they are all based on the infallibility of human memory, conspiracies that warp reality for breakfast, and embarrassing ignorance of the Bible.

The best thing about it: If one (even one) of the thousands of verses claimed to be altered is proven to have always been that way, the entire deception crumbles because it is an argument based on infallibility and reality warping. If memory fails and a fact is proven regardless of reality warping, it’s all over.

A Verily Olde Bible

You can check all the old Bibles you want. They are all supernaturally changing every time a certain YouTuber reads her Bible. The last thing you will want to do is check out this link to a KJV 1611 translation printed in 1612 to see exactly what the Bible has always said.

Mandela Effects for Atheists

Bible-believers like to focus on the attacks leveled against the KJV by Mandelites claiming they are actually trying to defend it. Let’s not forget the many secular “Effects” not related to scripture. I think you’ll find some clues that will help you unravel the mystery!

Mandela Effect VS the Bible

Here is a great collection of videos showing how foolish and dangerous the Mandela Effect is. Enjoy!

Secular Articles On the “Effect”

Sometimes, it is nice to hear that there is some common sense among the secular scientific community. Below are some articles analyzing the Mandela Effect.

Mandela Master List

Each of the following cases reveals the simple truth that the true tragedy of the Mandela Effect has left its proponents unable to read, research, and understand their language. In short, it has left them completely helpless and dependent on their “leadership.”

We believe that any amount of time analyzing the Mandelite lists will reveal some interesting points:

  • Mandelites ignore all facts and evidence that do not confirm their theories. The mountain of evidence to support their views does not come from actual research, but rather the sheer number of their claims. The more “Effects” are claimed, the more they can justify never performing responsible research.
  • Mandelites form a broad spectrum ranging from those with one or two experiences/memories to those to whom all things they don’t remember reading in the Bible are “Effects.” It is sad to see how few of the first kind are willing to voice disagree with the much more vocal members of the second kind even when they know the Bible has always said what they claim is “Effected.”
  • Every “Effect” Mandelites “discover” serves as a nail in the coffin for their theories and beliefs. The stunning majority of “Effects” is now just a list of words found in the KJV and not the NIV (see Kat Martin’s goofy book). The larger this movement inflates its claims, the tighter its coffin lid. Eventually, this movement’s claims will reach a level of rediculous that can only spell out its utter collapse.

One day, this list will include all Mandelite accusations of “supernatural Bible Changes.” Please leave your suggestions for additions to this list in the comment section at the bottom of this page.

Grammar, Spelling, & Punctuation

  • Judgement or Judgment? This tells you why there aren’t many Mandelites in Europe. “The spelling varies based on whether you’re writing UK or US English. In US English, “judgment” (no “e”) is the only correct spelling. In UK English, “judgement” (with an “e”) is standard, but “judgment” is used in legal contexts. Aug 29, 2022″ (Sribbr.com)
  • Judah has been changed to Juda, Judas: Judah is mentioned 10 times in the New Testament. Typically, in the New Testament, Judah’s name is spelled “Juda” (Matthew 2:6, Mark 6:3, Luke 1:39, Luke 3:26, Luke 3:30, Luke 3:33, Hebrews 7:14, Revelation 7:5) There are two exceptions where the “H” is added to the end like the Old Testament does: “For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:” (Hebrews 8:8, cf. Revelation 5:5) Mandelites believe that these last two verses are “residual” left by the inefficiency of the “Effect.” Is there a good reason for this spelling difference?

Heresies Now in the KJV

The claim by some Mandelites is that God is purposely introducing damnable heresy, transgenderism, and homosexuality into the KJV to send strong delusion on Christians who love the Bible and those who have pleasure in unrighteousness. This sort of thing is what happens when a spooked Mandelite reads the KJV for the first time. Here are some examples.

Verses that “Used To Say Something Else”

Verses in this section will be seen to be a brief section of verses that are very popular passages, but often quoted incompletely or incorrectly.

  • We actually have an entire page dedicated to the “Lion” Or “Wolf” in Isaiah 11:6 and 65:25! Check it out and let us know what you think!
  • “Trespasses” or “Debts” in the Lord’s Prayer
  • “Judge not lest ye be judged” or “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” (Matthew 7:1 and Luke 6:37)

Nonsense Verses

  • Were the Israelites supposed to sacrifice Turtles or Turtledoves? The following information illustrates how Homonyms can sound the same and are spelled the same are not always the same in English. You could say we really dove into this! “Turtledove is a compound of Old English turtla, from Latin turtur “turtledove,” imitating the call of the bird. Dove comes from Old English dufe, dūfe and is related to the verb dive. Similar forms are found in other Germanic languages. Turtledove entered English in the 14th century.Dec 22, 2018” (dictionary.com) “This was what turtle in English first referred to, the word deriving from the Latin turtur, an echoic name, imitating the bird’s cooing. This developed into the Old English turtla (masculine) and turtle (feminine), and various forms in Middle English including turtul and turtyle.May 15, 2023” (scmp.com) “The English-speaking sailorsThe English-speaking sailors who gave us our word turtle may have in fact been largely unaware of the implications, but they apparently modeled tortu, which became turtle, on the French word tortue, which itself was from the Late Latintartarucha.” (merriam-webster.com; see also “Turtle” vs. “Tortoise”: What’s The Difference?) Summary: No one sacrificed terrapins to God. The way “turtle” is used in the King James Bible is 100% clear based on context and this “Mandela Effect” is resolved. (See also the KJV Today article on “‘Turtle’ or ‘Turtledove’ in Song of Solomon 2:12 et al.?” and “The (Etymological) Difference Between Tortoises and Turtles”)

Words Added to the KJV (Kat Martin)

It is not apparent if Kat Martin (EYA Censored | Supernatural Bible Changes and bible-changes.com) has ever read the KJV, yet all of her so-called “Mandela Effects” circle the drain of her ignorance of it. Willfully ignoring the history of words the KJV uses that she can’t twist to suit her imagination, she is always quick to change the subject when anyone points out her easily exposed errors. She has a long history of irresponsible “research” and wasted time “writing” books about her delusions. (Note, however, that her delusions are based on firsthand experiences that defy mundane explanations. We believe the forces (drugs?) behind these experiences are using the Mandela Effect phenomenon as a guise. No one is willing to investigate something this insulting, making it a perfect cover. Satanists have been using the ridiculous as a cloak for millennia!)

  • Halt: “I’m sorry, Kat, but the Archaic definition of “halt” used to mean “adjective: halt (of a person) having a physical disability. “if a man were halt or hunch’d” verb verb: halt; 3rd person present: halts; past tense: halted; past participle: halted; gerund or present participle: halting walk with a limp. “he halted slightly in his walk”” The more modern definition of “halt” means to bring to an abrupt stop or suspension in movement. ‘Cmon, guys. You don’t even need an OED anymore. Anyone can Google this. 🤦‍♂️ This proves once again that EYA doesn’t do any real research, just a bunch of hollow claims. I feel bad for you guys falling for this foolishness, but we’ll be praying for you. 🙏” (link to Kat’s post where she makes her claims, online dictionary definitions)

Questions for Mandelites

Thank you for your thoughts on this controversy! I certainly do not feel we should throw away the references to this verse that do not align with it verbatim. Your insight into these questions will be beneficial as we continue to look into these things.

  • First, do you believe it used to be “the lion shall dwell with the lamb”, “the lion shall lie down with the lamb”, “the lion shall lie with the lamb”, or “the lion shall lay with the lamb”, or the lion shall lay down with the lamb?”
  • Second, why do you believe Isaiah 11:6 now says that “the leopard shall lie down with the kid” instead of the lion and lamb, and also why Isaiah 65:25 now says “the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb” with no mention of the leopard?
  • Lastly, some also mentioned evidence “throughout the ages” regarding the true reading of Isaiah 11. How do you feel about the over 60 versions of the “Peaceable Kindom” painted by Edward Hicks (ca. 1820) (and many other old works of art) which all depict the wolf with the lamb, the lion with the ox, and the leopard with the kid? There is an original on display in a museum not far from me which I have taken detailed photos of if you would like to see them.
  • If God is taking the Bible away from the entire world, including Christians who are righteous and love it, why does Proverbs 10:3 say, “The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.”
